Entry Limit: 100 participants — with priority given to first-time Ironman-distance triathletes.
IronPine 70.3 is a long-course triathlon designed to remove the financial barrier from endurance racing. The race takes athletes through the stunning landscapes of Northern Utah, including the shores of Pineview, scenic canyon roads, and mountain trails near Snowbasin Resort.

5:30 AM – Transition Opens at Causey Reservoir (southwest shore)
6:00 AM – Swim Start

2:00 PM – Run Cut Off
5:30 PM – Post-race Celebration / Awards (Informal)

Start/End: Lakeshore just south of the dam
Water temp in August averages 60–70°F
Kayak support and lifeguards on water

Scenic road course with major highlights:
Easy downhill start down South Fork Canyon
Scenic views around Pineview Reservoir
Climbs up Trappers Loop Road toward Snowbasin Grizzly Center
4 aid stations spaced every ~10 miles (hydration and minor mechanical help)
Helmets required
Run
Trail and mountain road course near Snowbasin
Begins at the Snowbasin Grizzly Center
Mix of dirt roads, ski service roads, and shaded wooded trails
Expect rolling hills and breathtaking views
